Is this even summer?

Hey guys, did anyone even notice that I'm back, aha that's only if you care. 

So about this outfit, it's just a simple floral crop-top with high waisted ripped shorts and a simple oversized kimono over it. And maybe add a hat if you're going out in the day, you need to take care of your skin because great skin like that doesn't come around often.

In 2007, David Karp CEO invented Tumblr, another blogging site at the time. He didn’t like at the time that all the blogs were the same and he wanted something different, something unique.

Karp wanted a blog where he and other bloggers can express themselves and he didn’t see that quality in Wordpress, Blogger, and TypePad. He explain that those website were only for writing, since being not much of a writer, he created Tumblr were you can post and share texts, photos, quotes, links, chat boxes and videos.

Tumblr is different than Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and including MySpace, it’s not just a social media account where you can meet new people, it’s originally you expressing yourself.

You can also follow people and reblog from them.  Reblogging is offered in Tumblr if you see a post you like; you press a square button that looks along the line like a refresh slash recycle sign.

Tumblr reached its fame in 2012, word was spreading that a group of Hipsters were posting amazing photography. From there Now 25,000 people are signing up and creating their own blog. And it all started with just a post.

On Tumblr, it’s just like high school with different cliques, or I should say “Fandom.” Examples like the One Direction fandom on the band’s side where groupies have this dedicated blog for the band or into more detail, a boy from the band. It’s not just music either, it could be books, movies, TV shows, youtubers, and you get my point. You can even follower blogs that also related to your blog theme too.

In the search bar, you can search on what you heart desire, as long as someone else also searched that same topic or tagged too. Just be careful on what you search too since Tumblr is not a considered place where the ages under 18 can look at.

At Granite Hills High School, students and staff are not allowed without granted permission to go Tumblr since the school categorized it as porn.  I have be submitting reviews on which Tumblr is not just about that. Tumblers, what they like to be called, are actually caring people. It also depends on who you are flowering and if they treat you and your blog the same respect as you treat them.

    Now once you open your dash, another word for main page on Tumblr, you will see photos, gifs, videos, quotes, photos with words, stories, etc...These are posted and/or reblogged from blogs that you follow. You can reblogged or click the heart shaped button which it's just a 'like' button. 

    A Tumblr blog can be used for business, personal, friendly reason. I personally like it because I use Tumblr as if was my key to escaping the world. I can go on their meet new people, laugh my guts out at some of the funniest post or if it's dramatic, some tears will be shed here and there. I follow blogs who write stories about famous boys or what they are now called "Fan fiction." Seems very childish of me, but that's another thing I like about Tumblr. You can be yourself and no can judge you or hold it against you. So what are you waiting for a get started now, all you have to do is just click a button and with seconds you're seeing a brand new world.

 Why is preparing for a good education in the future is hard?

If you have just recently graduated from high school and on forth of going to a good college or still in high school, you would know the struggles with grades, colleges, clubs, homework, teachers, classmates, sports, after-school activities, etc… it just all piles up giving you stress, anxiety, and for some depression. 

For me I’m involved in band, two sports, clubs, student council, in Digital Design and Communication (DDC) pathway, and I’m also trying to stay on top of all of my honor classes. Sometimes my schedule get's a little out of hand, that running off to the hills, screaming is actually a choice.  

Sure not just me but so many other hard working students would love to get accepted by an excellent college and afterwards find a good job in the field we studied for, but why does preparing for life have to be so hard? I know not everything is handed to a person on a silver platter but is it really worth it in the long run. 

How come it takes a huge amount of time and work to get some where you want to be, yet it's so easy to fall down in the dirt and give up? Does it have to do when you finally reached your destination in life and you can look back and at all the hard work, stress and time just to say "Hard work does pay off." 

The classes and work a student must take in order to graduate is just outrageous. I also would like to say why do we take classes that won't probably help us in life? We should be learning life situation like how to have good credit, understanding how to keep up with bills, sex education where they actually talk to you about sex, how to buy a house/car or make an investment, etc... This should be the type of classes I will be willing to take instead of the classes the state is requiring me to take. 

I would like to add that not everyone wants to go to school, but I also won't accept that for those who are willing to get a good education must pay. It's simple, the kids who believe that education isn't important to them than to those who believe that it is, can go and work at places where the educate wouldn't work at. Jobs including such like picking up trash off of the streets, working on farms, cleaning houses/buildings/school/business, and so forth. Basically jobs that the educate won't be taking a second glance at. 

I've also notice that even though you still have a good education and going to great school, you wouldn't exactly get the job you're interested in. It takes baby steps for one to reach up there. For example, you would like to be a teacher, you must first go to school and get a degree, than work for small jobs like substituting to understand the fell of teacher, and from there actually being a teacher.   

To finally say, being well known with a good grades by parents, they expect us to keep up with the same grades or try to make them better. I know that if there is a C+ in my report card, my parents will be chewing my ear to make it better. Parents just need to know that today times are a lot harder compared to when they went to school.

Now since summer break is coming around the corner, I've been thinking, why not leave with a great summer outfit. Don't be sad because I will be coming back at the end of the summer (when school starts). This is not a good bye, this is more of a "See ya later."

I'm going to keep this short as possible, so that means I'm not going to be describing and talking about the clothing pieces (like I always do). Short and simple.

White crop-top paired with high waisted (or normal shaped length) shorts will keep you cool for the summer. A jean vest will keep your back protected and other revealing upper body parts that you might feel uncomfortable to show anyone. For your feet, I choose ankle booties, but if you're not fine with wearing a bit of heels, than put on something that will match and at the same time, feel good to walk or travel around in.

This is outfit is a little plain without an accessories. Just a simple coin collar necklace will do fine. Other than else, I got everything else covered. I hope you have a "Great Grizzly" summer.

Spring dresses

Spring time is here and so are spring dresses.
And that means a-lot of flowers (floral) and pastel colors, like light pink.
PLEASE STAY IN THE END (or just skip to it if you're that lazy) I HAVE AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT TO MAKE!

Skater-dress are never going to go out of style since they have that plip-plum style. They make a perfect choice to hide any stomach fattening and wide love handles some (like me) would have.
And also it's the type of design on the dress too. You just can not get a black, jean dress and pair with a pastel pink cardigan. Like no! It's looks like you're trying to mix Indie & Girly together and let me tell you, those two do not go together!

But for this outfit, the dress is just a simple floral design with pastel pink, dark pink, light blue, and army green mixed together.

Now this is your choice if you would want just to cover your shoulders or not. I would, only if I'm wearing this dress to a special occasion like on Easter's Sunday. This is just a simple off-white knitted sweater/cardigan. The bow is also a choice you can make, it goes great with your hair down or you do an up-do braided hair.

(In the making, I got bored so I watched cat videos)

The shoes are in a strict color/style for today's outfit. Strictly flat-tanned type would be a good choice.

On to the announcement, now I've been seeing styles that girls will choose around school, and let me say, can I fix your makeup and put you in something cute that your body will love? No, this does not mean I'm changing you for good "in the new you" type of way. I just want to help your body and bring the beautiful-ness that you never thought you saw in you. Like enhancing a photo and making it look better, basically a filter.

It begins.

    So spring times has now begun and that means it's time to dig out your spring clothes and change it out with your winter clothes. I love the winter and blah blah blah, but come on it has nothing on spring. Good by to those long sleeves knitted sweaters and the leg warmers we said we'll used, but really had them stuffed another neath our beds. 

   Okay, now let's get on for what you came to read and hopefully will try out. Also, this outfit isn't really that hard to put together if you have the right pieces. High waisted-floral shorts are the perfect match for this time of weather. Now since the shorts have the most attention, the top must be a white color for it doesn't have to take the attention away from the floral. 

   For shoes it could be any type beside this multi-color type of sneakers, (don't ever wear those types!). Just for this outfit, I went simple with a pair of black TOMS. Perfect choice for the perfect weather. Now the pastel pink bow and the sunglasses are optional. You could either go with one and ditch the other, wear both, or don't wear both at all because no matter what, the outfit will still look adorable.

Kathy's Outfit.

  Well story behind this, I found out that only person that actually reads my articles (and I thank her for that) is, my good friend since 7th Grade, the one and only Asian friend of mine, Kathy Chantha. Thanks Kathy and to that, I will reward you with an outfit.

  First of all, I'm going to talk about your style. I've been observing you lately and the choices you make on what to wear. You just have a simple style that includes jeans, t-shirt, converse, and a hoodie. Like always, your hair down and wavy. You don't accessories that much but I'm here to change that.

  Now, I know you have this at home but pick your best jeans and cute printed top. Something close to my examples on the top. (^) Than an army jacket over the top base, (and if you don't have one, it's all right because mine up there is only $17 dollars) you'll never know what mother nature is going to storm up later. (Ha ha, get it? No, okay, just another lame pun line of mine).

  For shoes, it took me awhile to know what kind and color of shoes should go along. So I just decide on some simple pair of navy blue TOMS. Don't forget about those mini socks though. Now to wrap up all of the outfit together, add a maroon color bow. (Did you get that pun line? Nope, just me, okay :/ )

  You see this outfit was simple like one, two, three. Maybe just trying on some cute clothing pieces could brighten up your skin and wear a dress much more often because Girl, you have great legs.
